About
I’m an American psychotherapist based in Alsace, France.
I offer therapy in English and French to clients across Europe and beyond.
My work focuses on individuals who function well in their daily lives
— they manage responsibilities and appear composed on the outside
— yet often carry recurring patterns in relationships,
a sense of internal pressure, or a quiet feeling of disconnection that hasn’t shifted despite previous
efforts or insight.
I practice Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) because it allows us to
work directly with the emotional roots of these patterns, leading to deeper and more lasting
change than insight alone can provide.
Living between cultures as an American raising a family in France has given me a rich
understanding of how international moves, identity, belonging, and cross-cultural experiences can
affect our emotional well-being and closest relationships.
I’m also a mother of three children. Parenting has profoundly deepened my appreciation for
family dynamics and the real, everyday challenges of maintaining meaningful connections amid
busy lives. As a married mother, I bring this lived experience into my couples work, offering both
clinical skill and personal understanding of the joys and strains of sustaining intimacy,
partnership, and family life over time.
