How I Work
A more active and focused way of working.
You’ve likely spent time trying to understand your reactions and patterns—thinking things through, gaining insight.
And yet, certain patterns continue to repeat. This is common — because the roots of these patterns often lie deeper than conscious understanding alone can reach, which is why insight alone rarely creates lasting change.
My work focuses on where these patterns are actually formed and maintained, so that change can be experienced, not just understood.
An active, experiential approach for bigger change
Rather than only talking about your experience, we work with it as it happens in the moment. This allows us to gently engage the emotional roots where these patterns are formed and maintained — so that real, felt change becomes possible.
My work is grounded in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), an evidence-based method that focuses on the moment-to-moment emotional processes.
Sessions are collaborative and purposeful.
What You Can Expect in Sessions:
Close attention to what arises moment-to-moment
Gentle exploration of the anxiety and protective patterns that appear
Direct work with feelings as they arise — moving beyond reflection into lived experience
A pace that respects your strength while building your capacity to feel and process emotions more fully — often leading to a noticeable release of physical tension and restored energy
What changes over time
Clients commonly notice:
A quieter mind with reduced internal pressure and less rumination
Greater choice and ease in relationships, instead of repeating the same patterns
Improved energy levels, reduced physical tension, and fewer stress-related symptoms such as headaches, muscle tightness, or fatigue
Greater emotional clarity and range — so you can feel more fully and connect with others more authentically
Sessions are typically 90 minutes, giving us enough time for meaningful depth, while remaining purposeful and contained. The pace is always adapted to you. This way of working tends to suit internationally oriented individuals and high-functioning professionals, who value depth, precision, and results — and who are ready to engage actively with what drives their patterns.
